Are children welcome?
Children are welcome to all events! We just ask to excuse yourself if any crying or anything happens to not disrupt the ceremony.
What is the dress code for your wedding?
The dress code for our wedding is fabulous as f*ck formal. What does this mean? Think formal wedding attire but throw the rule book out the window. We know that when you look your best you feel your best and that’s truly all we care about. All colors, prints, silhouettes and self expression are welcome!
What should we know before booking flights for our international travels?
We highly recommend you book DIRECT with your preferred airlines around 6-8 months before departure date for the best pricing. With the uncertainty of travel airlines are able to work with you to find another flight in the event of a delay or cancellation vs booking through a third party i.e. expedia or priceline.
International trip insurance is a great idea as well. It can help cover damaged/missing bags, and many other personal items! Travel Insured is a trusted company to go through if your own credit company does not offer it.
Looking for a great travel credit card? American Express is our personal favorite.
We also recommend getting Global Entry if you dont already have it as it will be a big time saver, especially if you have connecting flights in the USA. Here is the link to apply. It can take months to get an appointment so we get to it ASAP if this is something you choose to.
Where should we stay?!
Airbnb Luxury has some really amazing places to stay around the lake and was the booking platform recommended by our wedding planners.
Are hotels and spas more your style? The Hotel Guru lists some beautiful places on/around the lake. Hot tip: Places will usually give you a discount if you stay for a week.
Before booking, please be aware of your proximity to the Villa Regina Teodolinda if it’s important for you to be close to all the wedding festivities.
What should I know about payment?Euros vs. dollars?
Please check with your credit card company/bank to ensure you have a card with “No Foreign Transaction Fees”.
Debit cards usually charge a fee for each transaction you make and some credit cards do as well! Avoid those fees by verifying with your bank prior to your departure date.
Hot tip: If someone in Europe asks “Would you like to pay in Dollars or Euros?” ALWAYS choose Euros because you will get a the best exchange rate from your bank by choosing this option.

Uber Blacks are also offered in the city of Milan, but keep in mind that they will cost more than the train.

Any tips for first time European travelers?!

Because most planes don't have bluetooth adapters we would also recommend adding that to your carry-on. Linked here is our preferred bluetooth adapters.
We HIGHLY recommend not checking your luggage. But if you have to get AirTags and place them inside your checked luggage just in case something happens to them. They have helped countless travelers locate miss-placed bags.
